This Privacy Policy describes how Interactive Love Story ("the App"), operated by Oleksandr Riabchuk ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the App.
Information We Collect
Directly from you, when you enter it in the app
- Account data: email address and account identifier (Firebase UID) when you sign up or sign in.
- Story content: the text prompts you enter in the app and the stories generated from those prompts.
From Apple, when you complete a purchase
- Purchase data: subscription status and token-pack purchase history, provided by Apple via the App Store and processed by RevenueCat on our behalf.
Automatically from your device
- Diagnostic data: anonymous crash reports collected by Firebase Crashlytics when a crash occurs. Crash reports do not include your account identifier or story content.
- App usage: anonymous interaction events used to improve the App.
How We Use Your Information
- To generate stories using the AI Providers as described in Third-Party AI Processing.
- To deliver and personalize the Interactive Love Story service (sign-in, story library, token balance).
- To process subscriptions and token-pack purchases via Apple and RevenueCat.
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability via Firebase Crashlytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Third-Party AI Processing
To generate interactive stories, Interactive Love Story sends the text prompts and non-personal generation parameters that you provide (such as story format, language, content rating, style, and avatar selection) to our backend, operated by Oleksandr Riabchuk. Our backend then forwards only the prompt text and these non-personal parameters to OpenAI and Leonardo AI (together, "the AI Providers") for inference — OpenAI generates the story text and Leonardo AI generates the accompanying scene illustrations.
What is sent to the AI Providers
- The story prompt text you enter in the app.
- Non-personal generation parameters: format, language, content rating, style, avatar identifier.
What is NOT sent to the AI Providers
- Your email address.
- Your name or account display name.
- Your account identifier (Firebase UID) or any device identifier (IDFA, device ID, IP address beyond what is unavoidably visible to the AI Providers' network infrastructure).
- Your purchase history, subscription state, or token balance.
- Any payment information.
Purpose of sharing. Solely to generate the interactive story you requested and return it to your device.
AI Providers' data handling. OpenAI and Leonardo AI process the prompts to generate output and are contractually prohibited from using your prompts to train their models. Each Provider applies privacy and security protections that are at least equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy. Free-text reminder. Because the prompt is free-form text, please do not include sensitive personal information (such as your full legal name, address, government identifiers, financial details, or health information) in your story prompts. Doing so is unnecessary for story generation and is discouraged.
Retention. Generated stories are stored against your account on our backend so you can re-read them in the My Stories tab. You can delete a story at any time from the app, which removes it from our backend. Prompts sent to the AI Providers are not retained by them beyond the inference window required to generate the response, per our agreements with OpenAI and Leonardo AI.
Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with the third-party service providers listed below, each in support of operating the App:
We have agreements with each third party requiring them to apply protections that are at least equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy. We may also share information to comply with legal obligations or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of electronic transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your account data and generated stories for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual stories at any time from within the app. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information and library within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information — including the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
Interactive Love Story is intended for a mature audience and is not directed to users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
